The UV(Ultraviolet Rays) Resin is composed of polymer monomers and prepolymers, and a photo (ultraviolet light) initiator (or called a photosensitizer) is added to it. Under the irradiation of ultraviolet light of a certain wavelength (250-300nm), it can immediately cause the polymerization reaction to complete the curing. UV Resins are generally liquid. Common UV Resins include Somos Next material, Somos11122 material, Somos19120 material and epoxy resin.

1. Somos Next material is a white material, a new PC-like material, with very good toughness and the best rigidity and toughness so far. It is mainly used in automobiles, home appliances, consumer electronics and other fields.


2. Somos11122 material looks more like a real transparent plastic, has excellent waterproof and dimensional stability, and is mainly used in the fields of automobiles, medical and electronic products.

3. Somos19120 is a pink material, which is a special material for casting. After molding, it can directly replace the wax model prototype of precision casting, with high molding accuracy.

4. Epoxy resin is a laser rapid prototyping resin that is easy to cast. It has extremely low ash content and can be used for rapid manufacturing of fused silica and alumina ceramic precision casting shells.
